Amazon will soon no longer rely on other companies for its computing hardware as its cloud computing department is working on a powerful new custom data center chip. The new chip will be 20% faster than the ones on the market. Amazon often rents out its servers to other companies and this brings in around $34.9 billion in sales every year.
