Amazon wants to launch over 3,000 new satellites into space

Amazon has announced that they want to launch 3,236 new satellites into space to set up a global internet network. This network could provide internet access to tens of millions of people around the world. The company has yet to get approval from the US Federal Communications Commission for the project.
