Banana from $120,000 art project "Comedian" eaten by artist
Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan's latest art project, titled "Comedian", featured a store-bought banana stuck with duct tape to a wall, and sold for 120,000 USD at a Miami art exhibition. At the exhibition, New York performance artist David Datuna ate the banana, citing "being hungry" as his excuse. Cattelan welcomed the move, saying the banana had to be replaced anyway, which the art gallery did a few minutes later.

Roy Hudd, the popular British TV actor and comedian who rose to fame for the Roy Hudd Show and The News Huddlines on BBC Radio 2 from 1975 to 2001, along with starring in Coronation Street and the 60s sketch comedy show The Illustrated Weekly Hudd, has passed away aged 83 after a short illness. Hudd was also a prolific writer and expert on music halls.
