Beloved author Kundera regains Czech citizenship

The 90-year-old author of "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" had his Czech citizenship revoked 40 years ago, as a result of his criticism of the country's communist regime. Kundera fled the country and settled in France, where he lived from 1975 to the present day. The Czech ambassador in France recently announced that he personally delivered the author's renewed citizenship documents to him in his apartment.
