Boeing debuts world's biggest twin-engine plane

Amid rising financial difficulties and regulations stemming from Boeing's 737 MAX crisis, the plane manufacturer has successfully tested the 777X, the largest twin-engine plane in the world. The 777X completed its first flight from Paine Field in Washington to the Boeing Field in Seattle in about 4 hours, and after going through more rounds of testing and certification, executives hope it will see service in UAE's Emirates Airlines by 2021.

The City Council of Seattle, Washington has unanimously voted to curtail Amazon's growing influence in its political sphere, by banning political contributions from corporations with at least 5 percent foreign ownership, or at least 1 percent ownership by one foreigner. Amazon contributed more than half of the 2.7 million USD raised by Super PACs for Seattle's last elections, in a bid to influence a city tax law for large companies.
