Bosch develops an economical three dimensional sensor for self driving cars
German automotive supplier Bosch has announced that it has created a lower-cost version of a lidar sensor, a kind of sensor that provides a full 3-dimensional view of the road using light. This could drastically speed up the development of self-driving cars as no affordable sensors are currently available on the market.

Corporate banking startup Penta gets €18.5 million in funding
A corporate banking services startup called Penta, with headquarter in Berlin, Germany but operations expanding in Italy and Serbia, has successfully raised 18.5 million EUR in its new round of funding. Investors such as RTP Global and HV Holtzbrinck Ventures led the round. Penta aims to provide specialized banking services for small and medium-sized enterprises, called SMEs.

European Disney+ users will get pre-order discounts
For its 24th March launch in select countries in Europe, Disney is offering those who pre-order the Disney+ service a discount on annual subscriptions, reducing the original price tag by 10 EUR to bring the cost down to 59.99 EUR. Since Disney+ is already operational in the Netherlands, only users in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland are eligible for the discount.
