Brazilian president accuses Dicaprio of funding forest fires

In a bizarre turn of events, Brazilian far-right president Jair Bolsonaro claimed that Leonardo DiCaprio had, through NGOs such as World Wildlife Fund, paid money to deliberately fuel the devastating forest fires that raged through the Amazon a few weeks ago. When pressed, Bolsonaro admitted he did not possess evidence for his claim. DiCaprio has denied making any donations to WWF, whereas WWF have also rejected Bolsonaro's claims.

Amazon will be hosting the movies that were supposed to be shown at the SXSW film festival this year for around ten days. The festival itself was canceled due to the coronavirus but it seems users will still be able to enjoy the new movies, so long as they have an Amazon account.

Apple users can now finally buy/rent titles directly from the Amazon Prime Video app

Amazon has updated its IOS Prime Video app so that now apple users can make purchases directly from the app. Previously users had to make the purchase elsewhere, such as the Amazon website, before they could use the app to watch anything. Apple normally requires a 30% cut of all in-app purchases made on its platform but Amazon seems to have made a deal with them.

Amazon has made around 40 different children's shows available for free to customers all over the world. The company is trying to gain goodwill with parents who need to keep their kids occupied during the quarantine. Users will still need to sign in with a free valid Amazon account.
