Cineplex executives to take giant pay-cut as crisis deepens
Cineplex, a major cinema chain, has been forced to temporarily layoff most of its employees as the coronavirus has forced them to shut down most of their sites. Even top management employees are being forced to take pay cuts that amount to around 80% of their salaries. Staff will have a chance to get rehired once the crisis ends.

Legendary American actor and comedian, Jerry Stiller has died due to natural causes, confirmed by his son, actor Ben Stiller said in a tweet. He was 92. "He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad," Ben tweeted. Jerry Stiller was known for his role in "Seinfeld" and "The King of Queens."

The Cannes Film Festival will unveil a selection of movies in early June and collaborate with several festivals, including Venice, to present some films, Variety has confirmed. “As of today, a physical edition seems complicated to organize, so we are going forward with an announcement of films from the (initial Official) Selection at the beginning of June,” said a spokesperson for the festival.
