Disney Plus app launched with a bang
Disney Plus is live now and you can start streaming on the Google Play Store. Walt Disney launched the subscription video-on-demand streaming service on 12 November in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands. Disney aims to rival Netflix and Amazon Prime in an increasingly competitive online streaming market. According to data firm Jumpshot, Disney Plus already has around 2 million subscribers in the US.

European Disney+ users will get pre-order discounts
For its 24th March launch in select countries in Europe, Disney is offering those who pre-order the Disney+ service a discount on annual subscriptions, reducing the original price tag by 10 EUR to bring the cost down to 59.99 EUR. Since Disney+ is already operational in the Netherlands, only users in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland are eligible for the discount.

Disney+ will now have a 'continue watching' button
Disney has announced that their new streaming service will have a 'continue watching' button that will allow viewers to pick up exactly where they last left off. The button was originally there right after launch but was removed due to several glitches. The feature was brought back due to popular demand. Disney Plus is adding a million new subscribers every day.
