Feral hogs find large cocaine stash in Italian forest, police make large drug-bust

Around 30-50 feral hogs dug up $22,000 worth of cocaine in a forest in Italy and scattered the narcotics over a large area within the forest. Police found the drugs and arrested 4 drug dealers that they had linked to the stash. It is currently unknown what became of the hogs.

Italy to lock-down its most populous region due to coronavirus

The Italian government is rolling out a number of tough measures to try and fight the coronavirus. They are preparing to establish a virtual lockdown on the Lombardy region, which also includes the capital city Milan. The area is home to 10 million people, all of whom will not be able to leave.

Italian court legalizes home-growing cannabis despite opposition

Italy's Supreme Court has made the controversial decision to legalize growing cannabis at home, so long as it is only used by the grower. The drug will still be unavailable for sale and is still a heavily debated issue within the country. Many of the country's largest political parties still oppose it, with just the Five Star Party in favor of legalization.
