Google Classroom adds Meet integration as usage soars
Google today provided new usage figures for the two products, detailed a new Meet-Classroom integration, and extended how long premium features will be available for free. On the usage front, 120 million teachers and students around the world are now using G Suite for Education, while Google Classroom has over 100 million users. The newly-renamed Google Meet is seeing 2 million new users per day.

Mark Zuckerberg taking on Zoom through Messenger Rooms
Facebook is creating a new video conference version of its Messenger app called Messenger Rooms, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Friday. The new service will allow users to host a meeting with up to 50 people at once with no time limit. Zoom's free version allows up to 100 people for a maximum of 40 minutes. Facebook users can invite people to Messenger Rooms even if they don't have Facebook accounts
