'His Dark Materials' loses a large chunk of its viewer count for second episode
'His Dark Materials' premiered last week on the BBC and became the most viewed drama to launch on British TV in the last five years. Its second episode however did not attract the same number of viewers as the show lost 1.5 million views on its second outing down on the actual 7.2 million views. This is not entirely uncommon, but if the count continues to drop as the show goes on, it may not stay afloat.

Apple users can now finally buy/rent titles directly from the Amazon Prime Video app
Amazon has updated its IOS Prime Video app so that now apple users can make purchases directly from the app. Previously users had to make the purchase elsewhere, such as the Amazon website, before they could use the app to watch anything. Apple normally requires a 30% cut of all in-app purchases made on its platform but Amazon seems to have made a deal with them.
