Husband of Nicki Minaj arrested in California over sex offender registration

Kenneth Petty, the husband to popular artist Nicki Minaj, has been arrested in California by US Marshals after he failed to register himself as a sex offender in the state. Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995 when he was 16 years old. Minaj has defended her husband on social media, stating that Petty was 15 at the time while the girl was 16 and in a relationship.
