With a total capacity of 10,000 beds, India opened one of the largest hospitals in the world to help fight coronavirus, as health authorities announced the country's biggest one-day increase of nearly 20,000 new coronavirus cases. The Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre in Delhi became partly operational on Sunday, with 2,000 of its 10,000 beds available. The remaining 8,000 beds at the facility, will be in use from Wednesday

CDC reports an employee has tested positive for coronavirus
The Center for Disease Control in the US has reported that an employee has tested positive for the COVID-19 infection, marking the organization's first coronavirus diagnosis. CDC has stated that the employee is in good condition and has isolated himself from others to prevent spreading the infection. The worker in question was not involved in the CDC's coronavirus response.
