People have come out onto the streets in Iran to protest a surprise rise in fuel prices. These protests are occurring in multiple cities all over the country and it appears that the country is also experiencing a complete internet and telecommunications blackout. The internet disruption is large in scale is intended to limit attendance and media coverage of the protests.
