Iran sued for $1bn by families of airstrike victims in Canada

The families of the victims who perished in Iran's January 8 attack on a passenger plane have sued the Iranian government for 1.5 billion CAD in Canada. The Iranian government admitted the mistake after three days of denying the assault and has reiterated that it believes the US to be responsible for creating a situation of war, which required Iran's forces to be in high alert.
