Jussie Smollett faces litigation for fake racial attack again

Actor in popular TV show Empire Jussie Smollett has been indicted for the second time by a grand jury in Cook County, Illinois, for allegedly paying his stunt trainers from Empire to fake a racial attack against him, for which Smollett filed four separate police reports in January 2019. The special prosecutor assigned to the case has revealed that Smollett is scheduled to be arraigned on February 24.

American actress Ali Wentworth, famous for her role as Staci Cole in hit TV series Nightcap and wife to former television anchor and White House Communications Director George Stephanopoulos, has tested positive for the COVID-19 infection, and has posted on social media warning her fans to not take the disease lightly, saying that the high fever, terrible body aches, and breathing problems are "pure misery".

Apple users can now finally buy/rent titles directly from the Amazon Prime Video app

Amazon has updated its IOS Prime Video app so that now apple users can make purchases directly from the app. Previously users had to make the purchase elsewhere, such as the Amazon website, before they could use the app to watch anything. Apple normally requires a 30% cut of all in-app purchases made on its platform but Amazon seems to have made a deal with them.

'Dave' to surpass 'Atlanta' as the most-watched show on FX

'Dave', a new comedy series created by Dave Burd, has averaged 4.8 million views per episode, making it the second most popular show on FX right behind Atlanta. The audience for the show has only increased since the coronavirus pandemic began and it looks like the show will overtake Atlanta soon.
