Kim Yo Jong, the younger sister of Kim Jong-un

Kim Yo Jong, like many members of the ruling Kim dynasty in North Korea, is a mysterious figure. Kim was born in Pyongyang, North Korea, on Sept. 26, 1989. She spent her childhood at her mother’s residence in central Pyongyang. She attended the Winter Olympics in 2018 and became the first member of the ruling Kim family to cross into South Korea since the Korean War truce in 1953
