In 1965, Emily Hale, the mysterious muse of pioneering post-modernist poet T. S. Eliot, famous for his poems The Wasteland and Four Quartets, donated over a 1000 letters between her and Eliot to a library on the condition that they be released 50 yeas after their deaths, a period that was completed in 2019. Eliot scholars are excited to find hitherto unknown details about the artist in the correspondences.
