Macron's Nato comment provokes Trump backlash

After French president Emmanuel Macron's comments terming the North Atlantic Treaty Organization a "brain dead" coalition, US president Donald Trump has fired back, coming to the defense of Nato, and stated that the organization "served great purpose". He praised EU leaders for increasing their defense spending, but then also added that European leaders were not spending enough.
