Nathaniel Woods execution upheld despite the killer's confession
Nathaniel Woods, an Alabama convict on death row for the murder of three police officers when they raided a crack house in 2004, has only hours to go until his sentence is scheduled to be carried out. Despite the confession of fellow convict Kerry Spencer, also on death row, that he alone was responsible for shooting and killing the officers while Woods ran, prosecutors have denied pleads for clemency.

Police may have found the body of missing child Evelyn Boswell
It is believed that police have found the body of the 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell in Sullivan County, New York. Evelyn went missing in December but her mother, 18-year-old Megan, failed to report her missing until two weeks ago. Evelyn's body was found on property belonging to a family member of Megan's, and police believe Megan's mother Angela and her boyfriend William McCloud to be involved in the case.
