Paypal purchases deal-finding Chrome extension Honey

Paypal just announced its acquisition of the company behind the development of Honey, a Chrome-based web extension that helps users save money by specializing in finding coupon codes for more than 30,000 online shopping websites. The sale was made for approximately 4 billion USD. Honey's Los Angeles headquarters and co-founders will remain unchanged, while reporting to Paypal SVP John Kunze.

An app called Spaces now allows Zoom users to attend online meetings in virtual reality on their PCs, and is also compatible with other video conferencing software. Chip manufacturing giant AMD has announced that a hacker has managed to steal the source code for some of their latest graphics products, including what is rumored to be the GPU for the next-generation Xbox. The hacker is now demanding a ransom of $100 million for the code. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
