Pentagon visions cyborg soldiers in the near future as a part of US army

According to a new report from the US military, soldiers that are fully integrated with cybernetics may become a reality by the year 2050. The report highlighted four probable areas for enhancement, including vision, hearing, muscles and direct data transfers to and from the brain. The report also stated that the public would have to be convinced to overcome its poor perception of cyborgs.
