Racial abuse investigation fails, NZ cricket hands case over to police

After recent controversy surrounding a racial epithet aimed by a spectator at black England bowler Jofra Archer, New Zealand cricket had issued a heartfelt apology to Archer, promising to investigate the incident further. However, despite substantial collection of evidence from social media and surveillance footage, the investigation did not yield a positive identification of the male spectator, and NZC has now referred the case to the police.

England's cricket team will not shake hands during their Sri Lanka tour

The England cricket team has said that it will be keeping human contact to a minimum during their Sri Lanka tour due to the spread of the coronavirus.
