Real Madrid defeat Valencia 3-1, proceed to Spanish Super Cup final

The Spanish Super Cup semi-final between Real Madrid and Valencia in Saudi Arabia ended in a comfortable win for Madrid at 3-1, with Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Isco scoring a goal each to give Madrid a 3-0 lead, with Valencia's Daniel Parejo scoring the only goal for his team off of a penalty. With the win, Real Madrid proceeds to the Super Cup finals.

Ex-President of Real Madrid Lorenzo Sanz died due to coronavirus

Lorenzo Sanz, the former Real Madrid President from 1995 to 2000 who steered the team to victory at the European Cup in 1998 after a break lasting 32 years, has died aged 76 due to the coronavirus infection. The announcement was made by his son, Fernando, a former Real Madrid football player. Sanz had stayed home for eight days initially, despite worsening symptoms to avoid over-burdening the hospital's facilities.

Spain's top football matches to happen without a live audience due to coronavirus

All La Liga matches that take place in the next two weeks will take place without a live audience due to the spread of the coronavirus. Barcelona's next Champion's League match will also follow the same guidelines that were set by Spain's football council. Italy, on the other hand, has entirely canceled all sporting events until April 3rd.

Robertson defeats Dott 10-8 at World Grand Prix final

Australian snooker star Neil Robertson won the Coral World Grand Prix championship after defeating Graeme Dott in the tournament's finals. Robertson started slow, trailing behind Dott 2-1, but returned to form with fury to win with breaks of 107, 142, 69, 101 and 69, with his 142 break marking the highest break of the tournament.
