Scientists find way to generate large amounts of power from nuclear waste

Scientists working at the University of Bristol have announced that they have created 'diamond battery power' from nuclear waste material. These batteries last a very long time and only require that a specific kind of diamond be placed in a radioactive field. This could provide an opportunity to recycle all the nuclear waste that is currently being produced.
