The 1991 smash hit 'Smells like Teen Spirit' by grunge band Nirvana, who were headed by legendary front-man and vocalist Kurt Cobain, has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, according to the most recent statistics released by the website. The list is topped by Luis Fonsi's 'Despacito' at 6.5 billion views, with Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' at 4.5 billion views.
