Spotify plans to launch in Russia next week
After a successful launch in India, Spotify is set for expansion in one of the most fertile markets, Russia. Russia is home to a population of approximately 144m people, including an estimated 95m+ smartphone owners. Spotify expected to launch in Russia on July 15. Spotify’s arrival in Russia will take the platform into its 80th country worldwide. Next on SPOT’s global agenda, say sources, is a launch in South Korea
