Trump says he is meeting with the Taliban to make a peace deal

US President Donald Trump has made his first-ever visit to Afghanistan since taking office, reigniting hopes for peace in the region. He announced that the Taliban want to make a peace deal and that he is there to meet with them. He has also said that both sides will likely agree to a ceasefire.
