US president Trump invites UK PM Johnson for new year

In a phone call earlier this week, US President Donald Trump and UK prime minister Boris Johnson concurred with each other that in the light of Brexit, Britain and the US should seek better trade relations. Recently President Trump extended an invitation to PM Johnson for a meeting in the White House in the new year. Johnson has not yet officially responded to the invite.
