USC announces free tuition for families earning less than $80,000
The University of Southern California has announced two significant changes in its financial aid policy designed to make college less expensive for families, with students coming from families earning less than 80,000 USD annually being granted free tuition, and the value of the family's house removed from calculations of a student's financial need.

121 students at the University of Washington tested positive for coronavirus
At the University of Washington in Seattle, 121 students have tested positive for Covid-19, as part of a fraternity house cluster, the university said Sunday. Of those cases, 112 students were residents in the Greek Row section north of the campus. Los Angeles mayor requests for National Guards after violent protests
After violent protests in the city, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti asked for the National Guards to be deployed in the city. Garcetti requested National Guard assistance from California Gov.
