The World Health Organisation has declared the various measles outbreaks that have popped up all over the world a 'collective failure'. The disease has killed 140,000 people in 2018 alone, infecting over 10 million people worldwide. Measles is an entirely preventable disease and its vaccine has been on the market for years.
