SpaceX to explore heavy metal asteroid by 2022

SpaceX has recently won the contract for NASA's 2022 mission to explore Psyche, a mineral-rich asteroid that may teach us about how planets formed. The mission will still be conducted and overseen by NASA and will cost $117 million, a very low cost for such a large mission. The asteroid is located between Mars and Jupiter.
