The 13 billion USD food delivery startup DoorDash, which some say is currently the largest on-demand food delivery company in the US, has stated that it has applied for a confidential IPO, which will allow it to explore some of the benefits of a public listing without being subjected to strict scrutiny that accompanies a regular IPO.
