SpaceX is chasing a $36 billion valuation

Elon Musk's aeronautics company SpaceX is reportedly chasing a 36 billion USD valuation by seeking an additional 250 million USD in funding, which would increase the company's value by more than 2.5 billion USD. The company has shown strong revenue flows in the past due to lucrative contracts with NASA and comfortably raised 1.33 billion USD last year.

SpaceX's latest Starship prototype, named the SN3, suffered a catastrophic failure during a cryogenic proof test, which tests the spaceship's integrity by subjecting it to pressures similar to what it would face during a test flight.
