A Netflix executive has said that the platform is looking for more and more foreign language entertainment. She placed particular emphasis on shows coming from Africa during her presentation and mentioned a Netflix original that's coming out of South Africa. They plan to outsource the production of their foreign language originals.

US courts indicted two Russian members of a hacker group, calling itself Evil Corp, which has been alleged to be responsible for a host of cyber crimes targeting banks, companies and non-profit organizations worldwide, appropriating more than 100 million USD in stolen funds. The indicted men were investigated after they posted lavish pictures on social media. Evil Corp has been termed the most dangerous active hacker group in the world.

Researchers at the Tel Aviv University in Israel conducted experiments on tobacco and tomato plants, creating two different kinds of distressing situations: one in which they were deprived of water, another when their stem was cut. They placed highly sensitive audio recorders near the plants and found that the plants not only emitted ultrasonic sounds when distressed, but also emitted different sounds for different kinds of situations.
