Amazon Music going ad-sponsored on iOS, Android, Fire TV
Following up on their release, earlier this year, of an ad-sponsored version of their music streaming service Amazon Music for the Echo and Alexa devices, Amazon has now released free ad-sponsored versions of Amazon Music for iOS, Android and Amazon's own Fire TV devices. Amazon Prime subscribers need not worry about ads, but a Prime subscription is no longer required for access to Amazon's music streaming services, and neither is a billing method.
