Biden and Sanders participate in last Democratic debate amid coronavirus panic

Punctuated by the severe disruption of life in the US caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and his rival and current front-runner former Vice President Joe Biden engaged in the last Democratic debate before the party needs to decide on its nominee for the 2020 presidential elections. Biden has emerged as the clear favorite after sweeping recent primaries, finishing far ahead of second-place Sanders.
