Singapore’s ruling People’s Action Party extended its unbroken rule in Friday’s election, but its vote share slipped near a record low as the main opposition party secured 10 seats, the most ever held by any opposition party. Having held power since independence in 1965, the PAP had been widely expected to win and carry Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. PAP’s popular vote fell to 61%, down from 70% in 2015

Incumbent Polish President Andrzej Duda has narrowly beaten challenger Rafal Trzaskowski in Sunday's presidential vote. The National Electoral Commission said Mr. Duda had won 51.2% of the votes.
