Bolivia interim president Jeanine Anez announces election campaign
Jeanine Anez, the 52-year-old Bolivian interim president, and former TV news anchor and lawyer, has announced her campaign for the country's presidential elections in May. Anez, a Senator, assumed the presidency after the ousting of 13-year president Evo Morales following allegations of mass voter fraud in the national elections. While Morales is not running in Bolivia's upcoming elections, he is still directing his socialist party's campaign from Argentina.

Singapore’s ruling party PAP wins 83 out of 93 seats in the parliament
Singapore’s ruling People’s Action Party extended its unbroken rule in Friday’s election, but its vote share slipped near a record low as the main opposition party secured 10 seats, the most ever held by any opposition party.
