Pete Buttigieg has announced that he will no longer be competing for the Democratic presidential nomination as he no longer expects to win. His announcement came after Joe Biden won a large victory in South Carolina. Buttigieg had managed to secure some support earlier in the race but it steadily declined as the race went on.
