Conservatives win landslide victory in UK elections
As predicted by various polling agencies, the latest general elections in the UK have delivered an enormous victory for reigning prime minister Boris Johnson's Conservative party, marking the Tories' biggest win since the Thatcher era in the 1980s. Conservatives won 364 out of a total of 650 seats, easily crossing the halfway mark at 326 to form a majority government.

Incumbent Polish President Andrzej Duda has narrowly beaten challenger Rafal Trzaskowski in Sunday's presidential vote. The National Electoral Commission said Mr. Duda had won 51.2% of the votes. It is Poland's slimmest presidential election victory since the end of communism in 1989. Singapore’s ruling party PAP wins 83 out of 93 seats in the parliament
Singapore’s ruling People’s Action Party extended its unbroken rule in Friday’s election, but its vote share slipped near a record low as the main opposition party secured 10 seats, the most ever held by any opposition party. Having held power since independence in 1965, the PAP had been widely expected to win and carry Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. PAP’s popular vote fell to 61%, down from 70% in 2015
