Court approves investigation into Myanmar's Rohingya deportation
The war crimes court, based in The Hague, agreed to a prosecution request regarding crimes against humanity committed against Myanmar's Rohingya population, as it is estimated about 700,000 Rohingya have been forced out of Myanmar into neighboring Bangladesh since 2017. The years since have seen an unprecedented crackdown against the Rohingya by Myanmar's armed forces, which UN investigators deemed 'genocidal'.

Israel gets official approval to fly commercial planes over Sudan
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israeli commercial planes can now overfly Sudan. This announcement came as a result of talks between Netanyahu and Sudan’s military head of state, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
