Australian cricketing legend and one of the sport's most well-respected spin bowlers Shane Warne announced that to fund relief efforts for Australia's catastrophic bushfire season this year, he would be auctioning off the green cap he received in his international test debut for the Australian cricket team, which he wore throughout his career during which he took a national record 708 wickets. The bid currently stands at 301,500 AUD.

Baseball Legend Mary Pratt dies at age 101
Baseball Legend, Mary Pratt, who played for the Rockford Peaches and Kenosha Comets in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, has died. Pratt pitched in the women’s league from 1943-47.
