Cruise launches first electric self-driving vehicle

The innovative self-driving car startup Cruise recently launched the Cruise Origin, a self-driving electric car without steering wheels or pedals. Cruise is majority-owned by General Motors and developed the car in collaboration with Honda, who are also shareholders. The two carmakers had been planning on releasing self-driving cars since 2018 but faced delays due to safety concerns and regulations.

Princess Cruises, the cruise liner that had a serious outbreak of the coronavirus earlier this year, has recently admitted that it has suffered a data breach. The data that could have been stolen includes the names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and government IDs of both the crew and passengers on the ship.
