Disney+ includes 'outdated cultural depiction' warnings on older films
Disney recently announced that its newly launched streaming service, Disney+, will express sensitivity towards past instances of controversial, racially charged depictions in some of its older films by including a warning label for relevant classic films. Such films include Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, and Dumbo with problematic portrayals of racial characters and accents, while it is already known that the highly controversial film Song of the South will be omitted.
