EasyJet suffers a major cyberattack

Budget airline EasyJet announced on Tuesday that it has suffered a major cyberattack from a “highly sophisticated” source. The hack left 9 million customers details’ exposed. EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren said in a statement that the company takes the cybersecurity of its systems seriously, “however, this is an evolving threat as cyber attackers get ever more sophisticated.”
