Ericsson cancels Barcelona meet amid Coronavirus fears

Swedish telecom company Ericsson has announced its withdrawal from this year's Mobile World Congress, arranged by GSMA, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, stating it could not sufficiently guarantee the safety of its employees attending the conference due to the worsening Coronavirus outbreak. The MWC is slated to have an attendance of over 100,000 visitors and has been under increasing scrutiny by the World Health Organization.
