With Spain experiencing yet another record single-day increase in coronavirus death tolls of 864, the death toll in the country passed 9,000, pushing Europe's cumulative death toll beyond the 30,000 mark, with more than 800,000 confirmed coronavirus cases around the world and more than 40,000 people dead in total across the globe.
