Facebook apologizes for obscene translation of Xi Jinping's name
Facebook has apologized to Chinese president Xi Jinping for mistranslating his name into English from Burmese, citing technical problems. Jinping is on an official visit to Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi, and when users made Facebook posts in Burmese regarding the visit, Jinping's name was incorrectly translated into English as "Mr. Shithole".
